Siglufjörður is a fjord and fishing town located right under arctic circle in Troll Peninsula of North Iceland. At some point of every fall, perfect conditions come together creating amazing contrasts of orange landscape and mountain tops dusted with fresh snow.
I took this photo when driving on the western side of the fjord. You can see a small fishing boat returning home after the day on the sea and in the left, in the background you can spot part of old settlement Siglunes, which in fact is believed to be one of the oldest settlements in the country.
I always number and individually sign each print by hand . This is then scanned and added to the final file which goes to the printer. As my home is far north near the arctic, I chose this process with the goal of keeping the proces carbon neutral as much as possible.
